That's enough holiday and now it's time to put away the parasols and break out the umbrellas, because they might just come in handy in the Ardennes. After the summer break, we are all super pumped up about tackling one of the greatest races on the calendar at the famous circuit. Seven kilometres in length, the Belgian track winds its way through 19 corners, many of them high speed, with some straights and slower corners and chicanes thrown in. They have made it famous as the ultimate motor sport proving ground and it's a favourite with all the drivers. It is technically demanding and requires medium levels of aero downforce, although it is often the weather that can have the greatest influence on the outcome and in the past we have seen some really crazy races here.

The power unit plays a key role at Spa-Francorchamps because of two high speed sections where full throttle is required for 18 and 22 seconds respectively. Apart from power, the hybrid system needs to work effectively, because it can give a significant advantage on this track, delivering the right amount of power while being fuel efficient due through efficient recharging of the hybrid system.
